Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 August 2026

Maker Loop Ltd (“Maker Loop”, “we”, “us”) builds software and mobile applications. This policy explains what information our applications handle, how they handle it, and the choices you have. We designed our apps to be private by default and to keep your data on your device wherever possible.

Our approach

Our applications do not require you to create an account, sign in, or give us your name, email address, or phone number to use them. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Information stored on your device

Most of the information you create in our apps — such as the entries, logs, settings, and progress you record — is stored locally on your device. It is not transmitted to us or stored on our servers, and we cannot access it. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it.

Photos and AI processing

Some of our applications let you take or select a photo (for example, to identify items in a picture of your food). When you use such a feature:

Third-party service providers

To provide AI features we rely on established third-party processors, which may include Anthropic (AI model provider) and Cloudflare (secure request routing). These providers process the content you submit solely to return a result to you, under their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not grant them permission to use your content to train their models for their own purposes.

App stores and platform data

When you download an app through the Apple App Store or another platform, that platform may collect its own information (such as download and basic diagnostic data) under its own privacy policy. If an app includes optional crash reporting or analytics, it will be limited to aggregate, non-identifying technical information used to fix problems and improve reliability.

Children

Our applications are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Because your content is stored on your device and we do not hold personal accounts, you remain in control of your data at all times — you can edit or delete it within the app, or remove it entirely by deleting the app. If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, including the rights of access, rectification, and erasure. To exercise any right or ask a question, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our applications evolve. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
